Be More. Grow Home.

People and places thrive when they are visited, loved and respected. Grow Home connects dedicated neighbors, staff and advocates together to turn under-used public spaces in Baltimore City into green centers for community athletics, urban farming, enjoyment and community.

Since 2012, Grow Home staff have been helping residents clean up and become stewards of public parks and community gardens from Curtis Bay to Leakin Park, bringing adults and children outside to play and make their green spaces a wellspring for healthy lifestyles and community improvement.

The Grow Home mission is to support community-led programs that cultivate open spaces, empower resident leaders and give youth accessible opportunities for recreation and first-time employment, guided by ethics of equity and empowerment. Together, we’re engaging partners to build capacity and catalyze stronger, healthier communities.
